Walnut cake - Tort cu nuca - Torta alle noci
How to make:
Ingredients :400 gr minced walnuts, 1 egg, 350 gr sugar, 600 ml cream, 2 tablespoons honey, 200 gr flour, 4 tablespoons sour cherry jam, 4 tablespoons milk,1 teaspoon Rum flavoring, 8 tablespoons Irish cream.
Base: 200 gr walnuts,300 gr sugar,2 tablespoons honey,1 egg,4 tablespoons milk,200 gr flour stir together and allow to cool for 2 hours.Divide the dough in 4 parts and roll out on to 4 sheets baking paper with 24 cm diameter,4 crusts.Bake into the oven for 12 - 15 min,at 180 Celsius.
Filing: 600 ml beaten cream dived in 2 parts, first part mix with 4 tablespoons of sour cherry jam,and second part mix with 200 gr minced walnuts,50 gr sugar and 1 teaspoon of Rum flavoring.
Put first crust in a pan with 24 cm diameter,pour 2 tablespoons Irish cream,add half of first part of cream,add second crust,pour 2 teaspoons Irish cream,add half of the second cream and so on.
Decorate the cake and allow to cool for 6 hours.
