French mussels - Scoici frantuzesti

  • How to make : 
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil,2 shallots(onion), finely chopped,3 garlic cloves finely chopped,1 kg mussels, cleaned,150 ml dry white wine, 75 ml cream,1/2 bunch fresh parsley chopped, 1/2 red chili chopped,sea salt.Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.Add the shallots,chili and garlic and cook until softened,about 5 mins.Add the mussels,wine,cream and season well with sea salt.Give it a good stir,cover the pot and cook until mussels open and are cook through,about 10 -15 mins.Dived the mussels and the juice between two bowls,sprinkle some parsley and serve with crusty bread or chips.
