Whiskey truffle cake - Tort trufa cu whiskey - Torta trufle all whiskey

Happy new year ! La multi ani ! Felice anno nuovo !

How to make:
Ingredients :
Base : 7 eggs,200 ml water,300 gr ground walnuts, 4 tbs plain flour,170 gr sugar,2 tbs cocoa.
Mix the water with sugar and walnut then boil on lower heat until the sugar is dissolved.Allow to cool then add the yolks,cocoa,flour and eggs white very well beaten until peaks stand upright. Fold the mixture in a very well greased and floured baking tray (with 23 cm diameter) .
Preheat the oven to 160 C.Bake the base at 160 C for about 45 - 50 mins.Leave the base for 12 hours to set on a serving plate.
Filling : 3 yolks egg, 100 gr sugar, 250 ml milk, 175 gr butter,4 tbs flour,4 tbs cocoa,2 tbs instant coffee, 1/2 tsp rum essence.
Mix yolks with sugar,milk,flour,cocoa and instant coffee on a lower heat until the mixture will became thick. Allow to cool,add rum essence,butter and stir well until the filling will became smooth.
Moisture the base with 6 tbs whiskey and 3 tbs melted strawberry jam,add the filling and decorate with almonds flakes. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
