Apples in puff pastry - Mere in foietaj - Mele in pasta sfoglia

How to make:
Ingredients: 6 apples,6 tbs cherry jam,3 tbs sultanas,cinnamon,400 gr puff pastry,1 yolk egg.
Peel and coarse the apples,then stuff each apple with 1 tsp cherry jam, few sultanas and some cinnamon.
Roll out puff pastry and cut in thins stripes(1 cm)and  wrap it around the apples.Make sure that when you put the pastry,apples to be slightly moist so it does not fall or peel off.
Brush the apples with yolk.
Preheat the oven to 200 C.
Line a baking tray with baking paper,add the apples and bake for 20 - 25 mins,or until the pastry is golden brown.
Allow to cool and sprinkle over apples some icing sugar.
