Almond & orange cookies - Pricomigdale - Biscotti di mandorle














How to make :
Ingredients: 2 egg whites, 2 cups (200 gr) ground almonds, 1/2 tsp almond essence,a pinch of salt,1 cup(125 gr) icing sugar,1 orange zest,1 tbsp honey.
Preheat the oven to 160 C.
Line 2 baking trays with baking paper and dust with icing sugar.
Using an electric mixer,whisk egg whites,salt and sugar to softy glossy peaks.Fold in the almonds,orange zest ,honey and almond essence until just blend.
Spoon level teaspoons of batter 3 cm apart on prepared baking paper,sift icing sugar over cookies and bake about 12 mins. Cool slightly before removing from the sheets with a spatula.
