Knitted meat pie - Placinta impletita cu carne - Treccia con carne

How to make :
The ingredients are for 2 knitted pie.

Dough : 500 gr puff pastry.
Filling : 2 tbs oil,600 gr minced meat(beef ,turkey and pork) ,2 chopped onions,2 grated carrots,1 chopped red pepper,salt,black pepper,thyme,1 chopped clove garlic,1 egg,1/2 tsp of mustard ,2 tbs milk,poppy seeds
Roll out the pastry in 2 sheets with dimensions of 20 cm x 30 cm and cut like it shows in the photos.
Fry the onions in 2 tbs oil,add carrots and cook for 5 - 7 mins,then add the meat,salt,black pepper,garlic,thyme and cook for further 10 mins.Allow to cool and add red pepper and the egg.
Place half of the meat mixture over one sheet,then start knitted like is shows in the photos.Lay a baking paper  in a tray then place the pies .
Combine the mustard with milk then brush the pies with this mixture and sprinkle over poppy seeds.
Preheat the oven at 180 C and bake for 35 mins.
Serve with pickles or tomatoes or yogurt.
