Corona with minced meat - Coroana cu carne tocata - Corona con carne

































How to make :
The ingredients are for 2 Coronas with minced meat.

Dough : 1 egg,1 tsp salt,1 tsp sugar,7 gr yeast,150 ml butter or oil,100 ml warm water,300 gr flour.
Filling : 2 tbs oil,600 gr minced meat(beef and pork) ,2 chopped onions,2 grated carrots,1 chopped red pepper,2 tbs bread crumb,salt,black pepper,thyme,1 chopped clove garlic,1 egg.
Dough : put in a bowl the flour,egg,yeast,salt,melted butter,sugar,add the warm water and mix. Leave to rise, in a warm place,for 90 mins.
Fry the onions in 2 tbs oil,add carrots and cook for 5 - 7 mins,then add the meat,salt black pepper,garlic,thyme and cook for further 10 mins.Allow to cool and add red pepper,breadcrumb and egg.
Dived the dough in two parts.
Roll one part of the dough (25 cm diam) and cut the dough in the middle to form 8 triangles like in photo, place half of the meat mixture,then each triangle is drawn over the filling and press tip to stick.Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle sesame or linen seeds.
Preheat the oven at 180 C and bake for 25 - 35 mins.
Serve with pickles or tomatoes or yogurt.
